Stone walls are as much a part of the New England landscape as the sugar maple and the dairy farm. Early settlers of this region built free standing stone walls (thousands of miles of them) to keep their animals in, or their neighbors’ animals out. You can find these old “field” walls still standing, rolling along the contours of open pasture lands, or hidden deep in a now regenerated forest. It is with great pride that we continue the tradition of dry stone walling and preserve their charm for many generations to come.
